You'll want to arrive at Flannery's early and admire items and services you can't get anywhere else!  Purchases will be announced at the conclusion of the evening's festivities. Proceeds benefit the New Glarus Community Foundation. If you have an item or service you would like to donate, contact Kaye Gmur at 287-4700.
 
Community Asset Awards
Dubbed the "Swiss Oscars" years ago, the Community Asset Awards have become a symbol of the New Glarus volunteer spirit. Nominate the individual, group, business or family that you feel deserves an award.  Nomination forms are found at The Bank of New Glarus, Sugar River Bank and New Glarus High School or on this web site here.

Local Celebrity Roast, New Glarus Resident, Sheri Kanter

For the past 9 years, the Gift of Community Committee visits selects a person who represents the epitome of community involvement.

This year's local celebrity is Sheri Kanter. Sheri is well known in New Glarus on many levels – her community volunteering, her work at The Bank of New Glarus, as a previous co-owner of “Sheri’s Place” (now Town Edge), and her commitment to her family and friends.
